I may be the love child of Liberace and Dolly Parton

As much as I love learning about Art, I also love to indulge in my slight obsession with glamour.
Of others.

I pressed a Google+ button, I am no longer Sandra
but Peaches McGinty

Here's Anastasia Beaverhausen
I may have been inspired

Dolly Parton
'People always ask me how long it takes to do my hair, I don't know, I'm never there'
I adore her

Liberace
'I didn't dress like this to go un-noticed'
what joy! if only I had a cape like this

Illusion
fuzzy lights
I don't really look like this

Looking at this makes me giddy with glee

Father Ted
'My lovely horse'
it's been in my head since yesterday
your welcome
hehe!

Have a glittering weekend
may sparkles be showered upon you

I will be linking up to Sacramento's share-in-style tomorrow
'Be Free'
I'm feeling it, feel free to join the party

Edit - I have taken these images off Google, if they belong to anyone please let me know and I will put your credit on, thank you

  1. Another fun Dolly quote is : "It takes a lot of money to look this cheap." I love her sense of humour. What the heck is between the legs of that fluffy shoulder thingies mannequin? Have a lovely, sparkly weekend.

  7. Hi there, We are back from ANOTHER trip. This time we were in Georgia checking out yet another waterfall... Check my blog today when you get a chance.

I love Dolly Parton. She is from a Tennessee town not far from us. She has put so much money and resources into that little town --and done so much for all of the people there... Gotta love her. (I also loved Liberace.)

    Have a great weekend.
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  8. I think you must be their love child, but Dolly had to have used a turkey baster because you know Liberace didn't go anywhere near that! You are so glamorous in that close up - you should print it and frame it, and sign autographs, and hand them out on the street. Such a fun post, and then Father Ted, too!!!!!

  12. You are too divine daaaaaarrrrllling! Gosh I love Dolly as well. She is fabulous. I have an 80+ lady at my work and her daughter took her to see Dolly recently. The elderly (she'd kill me if she heard me call her that!) lady hasn't stopped wearing her pink cowboy hat emblazoned with Dolly that she bought from the concert. Dolly just does that to people. XXX
