Can you play truant from yourself?

Knowing you need to go to bed when.......................................

Having a 1.30am cigarette, hearing and noticing 'weird' noises and lights on the railway track, I am spooked until,

I realise it's workmen fixing things

One time in the midst of sleep deprived new baby state
I woke Mr F to inform him of the moving lights in the sky
I thought we were being invaded
Mr F sent me to bed

Today I'm playing hookie
It should be Art Friday
today, it's swerved to 'things I have made this week vendredi'
I hacked a jumper
and made this felt brooch, inspired by Sacramento's Felting Flowers DIY

I do get bored looking at my face haha!

?????

The cowl didn't work with the leftover jumper

'Copacabana'
I would LOVE a shirt with so many ruffles
and showgirl outfit
Grocery shopping would be a hoot if we had a cha-cha down the aisles and a cocktail or two

I thought I would show the outfit

I made this years ago

It's an elephant

The Derriere
I do like a good firm derriere

Beware Fanilows, he get's shot
by Lola
LOlA!

I think I may need a nap

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend
I'm off food shopping later
in my ruffles and hopefully a cha-cha in the freezer aisle

SEE Y'ALL NEXT WEEK

  1. Well I for one am super impressed with your felt brooch AND your elephant. Your renovated jumper is fab too ... though I must say you are braver than I would be ... I'd be far too chicken to cut into a jumper like that.
Yes ... grocery shopping would definitely be improved with the addition of cocktails and cha-chas. I might add it to the suggestion box next time I visit.

  9. Once my family and I were vacationing in a beach house. I was up early before everyone and I swore I saw ghosts dancing on the beach....turned out is was a group of three women doing tai chi. I love it when our eyes play tricks on us, like watching the clouds! I love whatever this is that you made and that elephant why he is all ass :) and I mean that in the best way!

  11. I am constantly hearing noises and waking the poor husband who is sent searching, muttering and swearing, around the house. I have to stop watching horror films late at night and getting myself in a frenzy! Love the idea of cha- cha-ing down the aisles in lots of ruffles. It would make grocery shopping much more interesting! Have a lovely weekend! XXX

  12. I like what you have done to your jumper, quite inspiring. I am sure I have something I can hack into and recreate into a masterpiece such as yours. Poor Mr Foxy, I gave up waking TOF years ago with the sights and sounds of the night. My youngest could hear noises in his room the other night, he discovered a little iddy biddy mouse that had my big brave teenager in a panic!!! Needless to say that dear little mouse was found in a trap the following morning after being tempted by peanut butter!!!!

    1. Ahh they do get a little fed up with the frantic face and the 'there's something in the sky!' you are a brave one though, the cat bought a rat in once! a rat! there was a 'slight' panic haha! x x x

  13. I love your outfit and your brooch is lovely; you're so creative!

I'm giggling at your alien invasion story (street lamps?). Lol. But my eyes often play tricks on me and I get easily creeped out by odd noises , too. I end up thinking somebody has broken in, or there's somebody in the garden... and it ends up being a cat or nothing at all. Lol. xx

  14. I've seen a few people doing this cropped long-sleeve thing, and I need to try it. I think it would be a perfect top for my hot flashes - I need outfits that have vents! Great job on the flower, by the way.

I'm not a Fanilow, but I do love Copacabana! The video didn't work though - said it was removed by user. Oh, well, if I listen to it now it'll be in my head for days.
